A two day workshop on the ITER international fusion project, to be constructed at Cadarache in southern France. The10bn-euro fusion reactor will be the most expensive joint scientific project after the International Space Station.
Topics will include:
- Presentation of ITER technical features and the construction programme.
- Envisaged procurement system for ITER.
- Role of the European Domestic Agency, responsible inter alia for procuring the EU in-kind contribution to ITER.
- Contract opportunities for European industry.
- Information on Codes and Standards, the ITER site and local infrastructure
Furthermore, there will be a Fusion-Industry Exhibition with contributions from: industry, ITER, EFDA and the Fusion Associations.
