Visit of The Cathedral
The original Cathedral existed in 559 when the Council of Barcelona took place. It was dedicated to the Holy Cross and it was destroyed by Almanzor in 925.
The construction of the actual Cathedral began in 1298 in Gothic style; and, although the main works were made in the XIV Century, its façade was not finished until the end of the XIX Century.
Its interior is formed by three almost identical naves in height. The high altar is supported by two capital of the former Visigothic cathedral, and the humans remains of Santa Eulalia are kept in a crypt under the presbytery.
